How did we get started?
We started in our family workshop after we decided to solve the problem of proofing dough balls sticking together and losing their round. As pizza lovers, we had that annoying struggle for a long time, we could think of no better way to hold the dough ball in a plump round shape as it rests by proofing them individually in KEVJES dough ball proofing boxes.
What makes our products unique?
KEVJES Silicone Containers inlaid a reinforced steel frame inside which makes it more stable. Holds the dough ball in a plump round shape as it rests.
Larger 1,000ml Size – The expanded 1 liter size of the KEVJES Silicone Dough Box meets your needs for preparing large size pizzas. These are TWICE the size of our smaller containers. This set of four proofing containers, each with a lid, are specifically designed to individually proof large dough balls for a family size pizza. This prevents the dough from sticking together, ensuring each pizza has a uniform and ideal texture.
Freezer & Refrigerator Safe – These silicon containers are both freezer and refrigerator safe for excellent airtight storage for the dough. Many customers prepare enough dough to fill several containers, each of which can then be used to produce a large pizza throughout the week.
Sturdy Steel Reinforced – Each box features a reinforced steel frame inlaid into the silicone, lending greater stability to the containers. This not only enhances their durability but also ensures that they can withstand regular, heavy use in a busy kitchen.
Airtight Lids – An airtight seal is crucial when it comes to dough proofing, and the KEVJES Silicone Dough Box delivers. The clear, tight-fitting lid protects your dough from drying out and prevents any unwanted odors from affecting it. For best results, we recommend spraying some oil in the container before adding the dough. This trick makes it easier to slide out the dough ball when the proofing process is complete.
Food Safe Silicone – These proofing boxes are made from 100% food-grade silicone and are BPA-free and dishwasher-safe, promoting safety and ease of cleaning. As an added convenience, the boxes can be stacked inside each other for compact storage. This feature is particularly useful in kitchens where space is a premium.
